Welcome to My Path, The Sacred Journey of Ink and Spirit

Since the beginning of time, tattooing has been more than skin. It has been a sacred language of transformation. This is not only a resume. It is the living testimony of a life devoted to ancestral ink, spiritual growth and the eternal search for meaning.

Through decades of travel, thousands of tattoos and countless encounters with ancient traditions, Simone Randagio discovered that each line drawn can become a bridge between the visible and the invisible.

This is not just my story. This is the essence of Randagio Tribe Tattoo.

01 Introduction, A Message to the Reader

If you are reading these lines, you have entered the official world of Simone Randagio. This page is not written for everyone, but for those who feel a connection with his vibration, his path and his way of understanding tattooing.

Here begins the story of a symbolic and tribal tattoo artist who has transformed his life experience into a spiritual and artistic mission.

02 Ancestral Memory, Egypt and the Master

Simone describes a recurring inner vision connected to Ancient Egypt, a place where everything begins for him. In this vision, he walks through the sand beside a master, a firm and loving presence that seems to carry the knowledge he would later recognize in his own life.

This memory is not presented as a historical claim, but as a spiritual image, a symbolic root that explains his deep feeling that the soul and essence of a person are eternal.

03 A Childhood Marked by Ink

From the age of five, Simone felt the need to draw marks on his own body. He used Pelikan ink to cover his left arm with a tombstone, a skull and ivy, even before he truly knew what tattooing was.

Looking back, he sees that gesture as something more than a child’s game. It was an unconscious memory, a sign of what he would later become. Life, if allowed to flow through the heart, often leaves clues for the future.

04 The First Tattoo, A Mark of Emotion

His first real experience with tattooing came around the age of ten. A girl at school used three sewing needles tied together with thread to mark a small dotted heart on his wrist.

That small heart became much more than a childhood secret. It was his first encounter with traditional hand-poked tattooing, an emotional experience that marked him for life.

05 The First Tattoo Given, The Butterfly

A few years later, around the age of twelve or thirteen, Simone gave his first tattoo to another person. A friend asked for a butterfly, and Simone recreated the same handmade tool with sewing needles, cotton thread and Pelikan ink.

The story ended painfully for that friend, whose mother removed the tattoo in a harsh way, leaving a scar shaped like a butterfly. For Simone, this event became unforgettable. It revealed both the power and the responsibility of marking another person’s skin.

06 Embracing the Path, From Cook to Tattoo Artist

At eighteen, Simone received his first professional tattoo. Later, his body became increasingly covered with Viking, dragon and Celtic designs. Around the age of twenty four, he decided to become a tattoo artist professionally.

His family did not immediately understand the decision. His mother tried to convince him to choose another path, and Simone eventually left home. He was working as a cook, but his dream of tattooing became stronger every day.

With borrowed money, he bought his first tattoo equipment from a shop far away from home. He was afraid, inexperienced and completely aware that he had entered the unknown. Little by little, people began coming to him. The “tattooed cook” became known, and the dream started to become real.

07 Discovering Polynesian Tribal Tattooing

Even while working and tattooing, Simone felt that something was missing. Then he discovered Polynesian tattooing through specialized magazines. There was no internet at the time, only printed pages filled with images, interviews and symbols.

The aesthetics, the meaning and the spiritual depth of Polynesian and Maori tattooing fascinated him deeply. He decided to specialize in tribal Polynesian styles, even if it was risky. Choosing only one direction felt like opening a bar that serves only one drink.

For years, he studied symbols, curves and body placement with devotion. He built his own repertoire while trying to preserve meaning, anatomy, exclusivity and respect for the cultures that inspired him.

08 A Journey Across the World

Simone’s journey eventually took him beyond his local environment. He met Maori and Polynesian tattoo artists, attended conventions and collaborated with professional studios across Europe.

He traveled through Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Hungary and Italy, joining conventions in cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Maastricht, Eindhoven, Breda, Budapest, Madrid, Florence, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and others.

In 2014, his path led him to New Zealand, where he participated in the Hamilton International Tattoo Expo connected to the Waikato Tribe. Tattooing people from the culture that inspired his specialization became one of the most powerful experiences of his life.

09 Today, Sharing Knowledge and Preserving Wisdom

After years of travel, conventions and collaborations, Simone moved to the Canary Islands. In Fuerteventura, he opened a studio that also functioned as a museum, a place where he could collect, organize and deepen the knowledge gathered throughout his journey.

The island gave him time and silence to understand the ancient meaning of tattoo rituals, their role in ancestral societies and their connection with transformation, identity and consciousness.

Today, Simone lives and tattoos in his private studio in Lanzarote. He receives people, listens to their stories and helps them transform through free-hand ancestral symbols, tattoo ritual and hermetic meanings.

His mission is clear, to preserve the philosophy of ancestral tattooing and transfer onto the skin symbols that help people become the best version of themselves.

With All My Heart

Simone thanks life, his journey, the people who helped him and even those who challenged him. Looking back, he says that everything he lived helped him conquer the most important thing, himself.

The essence of self-esteem is to trust your own mind and know that we deserve happiness.
